Cash on Delivery (“COD”) is offered as a convenience for customers within the United Arab Emirates only.
By choosing COD at checkout, you agree to the following conditions.
Mythos Tech Essentials is a brand owned and operated by Mythos Trading LLC, UAE.
1. COD Availability
COD is available: • Only within the UAE • Only for eligible products • Only for orders placed directly on Mythos Tech Essentials
We reserve the right to disable COD for any product, customer, or region at our discretion.
2. COD Fee
A COD handling fee may apply and will be displayed at checkout.
This fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including: • Delivery refusal • Order cancellation after dispatch • Return-to-sender (RTS) events
3. Customer Responsibilities
When placing a COD order, the customer must: ✔ Provide a complete and accurate address ✔ Ensure their phone number is active and reachable ✔ Answer courier calls or messages ✔ Have the exact cash amount ready at the time of delivery ✔ Be physically available to receive the package
Failure to meet these responsibilities is considered a COD violation.
4. Courier Delivery Attempts
The courier will attempt delivery according to their standard procedures.
If the courier is unable to deliver due to: • Unreachable phone • Incorrect address • Customer unavailability • Customer refusal • Customer claiming they “did not order” after confirming COD
The order will be returned to us (RTS).
In such cases: ❌ COD fee will not be refunded ❌ Shipping fees will not be refunded ❌ Return shipping fees may be charged ❌ The customer may lose COD privileges permanently
5. COD Abuse & Blacklisting Policy
Mythos Trading LLC enforces a zero-tolerance policy for COD abuse.
The following actions result in immediate COD suspension or account blacklisting: • Refusing a COD order at the door • Repeated failure to accept delivery • Providing false address or contact details • Claiming non-order after placing a COD order • Multiple RTS events • Suspicious or fraudulent activity
Blacklisted customers will: • Lose access to COD permanently • Be restricted to prepaid payments only • Risk account suspension on Mythos Tech Essentials
We reserve full discretion to determine what constitutes abuse.
6. Changing or Canceling a COD Order
COD orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have been dispatched.
If you wish to cancel: • You must request cancellation before dispatch • Once shipped, cancellation is no longer possible • Refusing delivery is considered COD abuse
7. Refusal of COD Orders
If a customer refuses a COD order at the door for any reason: • They will be charged return shipping costs • They lose the COD handling fee • They may be blacklisted from COD • Their account may be suspended in serious cases
We aggressively protect our business from repeated COD waste.
8. Orders Over a Certain Value
For high-value orders, we may: • Disable COD entirely • Require partial or full online payment • Request identity verification • Contact the customer for pre-confirmation
If customer verification fails, the order will be canceled.
9. Fraud Prevention Measures
We reserve the right to: • Request ID before shipping • Confirm orders by phone or SMS • Cancel orders with incomplete or suspicious information • Disable COD for specific customers, cities, or product categories • Limit the number of active COD orders per customer
Our priority is to protect both the business and genuine customers.
10. Accountability for Courier Delays
Courier delays do not entitle the customer to: • Refuse the package • Cancel the order once dispatched • Claim refunds for delivery fees
Refusal due to courier delay is still considered COD refusal.
11. Misuse of COD: Legal Notice
Placing a COD order and intentionally refusing it constitutes fraudulent misuse of services under UAE e-commerce norms.
Mythos Trading LLC reserves the right to pursue: • Account termination • Ban from all future orders • Recovery of courier costs • Reporting chronic offenders to courier partners
